Can you really smoke CBD flower?
Yes! Smoking and vaping CBD is so effective because there is very little chance for the CBD to breakdown before it enters the bloodstream. It does not have to contend with saliva or stomach acids, which diminishes its potency. Rather, this method puts CBD in direct contact with the lung’s many tiny air sacs called, alveoli. Once the alveoli absorb the CBD, it is directly transferred to the bloodstream. What’s more, smoking CBD flower can provide the sensation of smoking without the addictive ingredients, which some people may find helpful as part of the quitting process.
What's the difference between Indica + Sativa?
First, let's note that all modern cultivars are technically hybrids, but the plants we officially classify as hybrids are the intentional crossbreeds of indicas and sativas, designed to produce specific qualities and effects. The hard “indica vs. sativa = relaxation vs. exhilaration” paradigm is clearly outdated, if not totally inaccurate.
However, we have found that most of our clients still categorize the differences as such:
Indica: Indica strains are considered most likely to produce a mellow cannabis experience. They’re associated with feelings of deep physical and mental relaxation.
Sativa: Sativas, on the other hand, are commonly considered better suited for the daytime. Consumption of sativa strains is associated with bursts of energy, uplifted feelings of euphoria, and creativity.
